PPD Psychotrauma

About PPD Psychotrauma

PPD Psychotrauma is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting individuals and communities affected by trauma, conflict, displacement, and social hardship. We work to restore resilience, strengthen coping mechanisms, and build healthier futures through evidence-based psychosocial support, community engagement, and peacebuilding initiatives.

Our work is rooted in the belief that healing, dignity, and development must go hand in hand for communities to recover and thrive.

Vision

A society where survivors of trauma are supported, empowered, and able to live with dignity, safety, and hope while contributing to sustainable peace and development.

Mission

To provide psychosocial, trauma-informed, and community-led interventions that promote healing, strengthen resilience, and advance peace and long-term development.

Objectives

  • Provide responsive psychosocial and trauma support to individuals, families, and communities.
  • Strengthen local capacity for mental health awareness and early intervention.
  • Promote peacebuilding, social cohesion, and community-driven recovery.
  • Support vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and survivors of conflict and crisis.
  • Build partnerships that connect recovery, development, and resilience efforts.
